At InterContinental we understand what really matters in the new business reality. That is why we have created our new 'Meetings Options' offer allowing you to choose the components that work best for your delegates.

Host a meeting until August 31, 2010 with a minimum of 10 bedrooms per night and a meeting component and receive not only special cancellation allowance, complimentary rooms and an exclusive Delegate Package but you can also select three benefits from our bespoke options.

'Meetings Options' Offer applicable for new group bookings consisting of a minimum of 10 bedrooms for a minimum of 1 night and a meeting room to accommodate the number of bedrooms. Offer is valid for new meeting requests only for meetings booked and consumed by August 31, 2010 (Validation Period for Middle Eastern Hotels: October 15, 2009 - August 31, 2010). Meeting Planners have to quote 'Meetings Options' when requesting a Request for Proposal via the Regional Meetings Centres (as per above listed telephone numbers and email addresses) or by contacting the participating hotels directly. A full list of participating hotels is available at www.intercontinental.com/meetingsoptions.

A 30% attrition allowance is granted for up to 50 bedrooms per night 30 days prior to arrival of the first days meeting. A 20% attrition allowance is granted from 51 to 100 bedrooms per night 30 days prior to arrival of the first days meeting. Full cancellation fees for remaining rooms apply thereafter.

The Delegate Package includes: meeting room hire for 1 room for the main meeting; mineral water and soft drinks in the main meeting room throughout the meeting; 2 coffee breaks consisting of tea/coffee/soft drinks and light snacks such as cookies; 1 lunch (3-courses) including water and soft drinks; 1 LCD projector with screen and free internet access for a maximum of 5 meeting planners in the main meeting room.

1 complimentary bedroom for every 25 paid bedrooms per night, up to a maximum of 4 complimentary bedrooms per night which will be deducted from final invoice.

For the added value 'Meetings Options' you may choose 1 component from each of the 3 option levels:

Option Level 1 (choose 1 option only)

  • Bedroom upgrade of 1 bedroom for every 20 bedrooms booked and paid for per night. Only applies to block bookings that are to be charged to a master account and paid for centrally. Upgrade is guaranteed to next available room category and will be allocated at check in.
  • 1% of net total bedroom revenue (excluding incidental spends and all taxes) invoiced to the meeting planners after the event, to be donated to part of the research, conservation, and exploration division of National Geographic Mission Programs - Center for Sustainable Destinations (“Donation”). The Donation will be deducted from the final invoice by the hotel and forwarded to National Geographic within a maximum of 90 days after invoice has been paid. National Geographic will issue a letter of acknowledgement for receiving the donation. There will be no tax credit notice issued.   • Welcome coffee break for delegates only for the max duration of 30 minutes, includes coffee and tea only.

Option Level 2 (choose 1 Option only)

  • Drinks reception for delegates only consisting of local wine, local beer and soft drinks selected by the hotel for the max duration of 30 minutes.
  • A 10% credit for second meeting based on net total bedroom revenue (excluding incidental spends and all taxes) invoiced to the meeting planners after the event (“Credit”). Applicable only for a second meeting taking place at the same hotel within 12 months of the date of issue of the invoice for the first meeting. The Credit may be applied to bedroom or meeting rooms and will be deducted from final invoice of the second meeting. Credit not used within the 12 month period is forfeited, is non-transferable and is non redeemable for cash.
  • Free WiFi available in the meeting room(s) for the duration of the meeting for all delegates.

Option Level 3 (choose 1 Option only)

  • 1 Day Delegate Package free for every 10 fully paid Day Delegate Packages to be deducted at the time of the invoicing.
  • 1 complimentary office space assigned by the hotel.
  • 40,000 Priority Club® Rewards points for Meeting Planner in the form of Priority Club® Rewards vouchers after final invoice has been settled. Must be a Priority Club® Rewards member to benefit. To join for free visit www.priorityclub.com.

Any component of the 'Meetings Options' offer not used cannot be redeemed in cash and is non-refundable.
